Notice is hereby given that the Annual Meeting of Westwood Parish Council will be held in the Parish Room on Monday 10 May 2010 commencing at
1.Welcome and Introductions.
The Chairman to welcome those present.
To note apologies from those Councillors absent from the meeting.
3.Election of Chair.
To elect the Chair for the forthcoming year.
4.Election of Vice Chair.
To elect the Vice-Chair for the forthcoming year.
5.Formation of Sub Committees.
To decide on the formation of the Sub-Committees and their respective delegated authority.
a.To note the following contracts:
b.To decide on the level of remuneration for the Handyman.
7.Clerk's Salary and Expenses.
To agree the Clerk’s Salary and level of expenses.
To decide on the level of ‘honorarium’ for the Chairman/Chair.
9.Football Pitch Charges
To decide the charges for the hire of the Playing Field.
To decide the level of fees applicable to the Cemetery.
To agree the ‘banking arrangements’ for the year and to agree any changes to the nominated signatories.
To note the Asset Register dated 31 March 2010.
To approve the Risk Register dated 1 April 2010.
a.To note the extant insurance cover and decide whether it is adequate.
b.To agree the payment of the Insurance Premium.
15.Accounts for the Year ending 31 March 2010.
a.To receive a report from the Clerk.
b.To note the report from the Internal Auditor.
c.To approve/note the Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2010.
d.To confirm that the Clerk is the Responsible Finance Officer.
To note the Financial Regulations dated 11 May 2009 and to agree any changes.
17.Appointment of Internal Auditor.
a.To appoint an Internal Auditor for the year and agree the level of remuneration.
b.To consider the effectiveness of the Internal Audit (Note. The Terms of Reference for the Internal Audit were approved at the Parish Council meeting 2 March 2009.)
18.Budget Details for Financial Year 2010/2011.
To note the agreed Budget for the year.
a.To consider the need for additional Standing Orders, or amendments to existing ones.
b.To agree change to Standing Orders on Contracts dated 5 December 2005.
