WESTWOOD PARISH COUNCIL - NOTICE OF MEETING

The next meeting of Westwood Parish Council will be a Zoom/Remote meeting to be held at 7.30 pm on 4 January 2021 and you are invited to attend.

 This meeting is being held using Zoom technology

 AGENDA.

 Prior to the commencement of the Parish Council meeting, members of the public will be given the opportunity to make any representations that they wish the Parish Council to note.

 Welcome and Introductions.

The Chairman to welcome those members and public present.

 1.           Apologies.

To receive and to accept apologies for non-attendance.

 2.           Declaration of Interests.

Councillors to declare any interests.

 3.           Minutes of the Ordinary Parish Council Meeting held on 7 December 2020 and Decisions taken remotely (post Lockdown).

a.           To agree and sign the minutes of the meeting as an accurate record.

b.           To endorse the decisions taken remotely (see details at end of Agenda).

 4.           Wiltshire Council Report.

To receive a report from Wiltshire Council, Cllr. J Kidney.

 5.           Highways and Environmental

a.           To receive a report on the Community Speed Watch Scheme and SID Training.

b.           To note the Site Meeting with Wiltshire Council (Highways) and any discussions that have taken place with Wiltshire Council in relation to traffic calming in Westwood and parking in Farleigh Lane and to decide any further action.

c.           To identify locations for tree planting in the Parish.

d.           To note the correspondence relating to Ash Die Back and the recommendations of the Tree Warden in respect of the Field Maple (T1) in Westwood Park and to agree any necessary actions.

e.           To identify any specific tasks for the Parish Steward.

 11.         Play Area.

a.           To note the placing of the order on Sovereign Play Ltd for Phase 1 of the refurbishment programme and to receive a report on the progress of the order and associated work programme and to note and agree the Sovereign Play Ltd prerequisites.

b.           To note the progress of the Wiltshire Council Area Board Grant Application for Phase 1 of the refurbishment programme.

 12.         Neighbourhood Plan.

To receive a report on the progress of developing a Neighbourhood Plan for Westwood.

 13.         Date of the next meeting.

To agree the date for the next Ordinary PC Meeting Monday 1 February 2021.
