Freshford & District Horticultural Society

  Interested in gardens and gardening? Come along to Freshford Village Memorial Hall and enjoy listening to one of our speakers.
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 2nd December and at 7:30pm Sally Gregson of Mill Cottage Plants, Wookey will talk about "The Winter Garden".
The January meeting will take place at 7:30pm on Wednesday 13th January when Colin Little of Beggar's Knoll in Westbury will talk on the creation of traditional and new gardens in China.
Membership for 2016 is £10, visitors £2. Everyone welcome.

GATES OPEN 2.30 pm.

There is plenty of parking in the field opposite.   Look out for posters on local notice boards nearer the time.   Refreshments will be served.

Freshford & District Horticultural Society Update Feb/Mar

 

The Society meet once a month on the first Wednesday, 7.30 pm at the Freshford Memorial Hall.   An interesting and varied programme is arranged for the year, plus discount on seeds, and for all this its only £5 per year membership.   The following is the programme for February and March.  In February Dawn Collins of Chapmanslade will be giving an illustrated talk entitled “Capability Brown Visionary or Vandal?”, and the AGM is held in March when the committee plan a social evening.   If you are interested you will be made very welcome, so why not give it a try.
