Update for Westwood Football Club.

The team currently playing in the Bath Sunday League under the name of The Griffin ( as they missed the deadline to 're- register ).Managed by two previous Westwood players Duncan Frew and Sam Gimbert, and strengthened by a couple of signings, the team are enjoying the season and currently sit in second place in the league ( as of 6/11 ).

The football club would like to say a big 'thank you' to Andy Langley of the turning circle, Bobbin Lane for his kind donation of a lawn mower which will help keep the playing field and park in good condition

Update for Westwood Football Club.

The new team managed by ex Westwood players Duncan Frew and Sam Gimbert have had an excellent start to the season winning both games at home against teams from Bath by scoring seven and conceding one. They have a tough game away next week against a strong Peasedown side but should be bolstered by the inclusion of a couple of new signings that will strengthen an already capable squad.

Damage to the hut on the playing field.

Someone has forced entry into the hut on the playing field just to put up a goal net to play in.

In doing so they have caused substantial damage to the doors which is going to be difficult to repair, so can i remind people that the hut and the contents are the property of the of the football club. Anyone found or seen entering these premises will be reported to the police.

Thank you. Derek Downes.
