Westwood School

Another busy and exciting few weeks have passed at Westwood with Iford School and our run up to Christmas is almost underway. Please join us for our Christmas Fair on Saturday 1st December at school. There will be plenty of festive cheer to get you in the Christmas mood.

Westwood Radio continues to grow, with three live shows a week and over 10,000 listeners last month; tune in at radio.westwoodwithiford.org.  If you would like to advertise on our station, please get in touch as we have some slots available on our schedule.

Our exciting Westwood Oral History Project is also gathering pace  and we are still looking for people that would like to share their memories of living, working, growing up and going to school in the Westwood area. We have already interviewed a number of community members and learnt so much from them about Westwood in the past. We can visit you or you are most welcome to come into school for a very informal chat with some of our delightful children. Please get in touch with the school if you are interested.   From all of us at Westwood School, have a Merry Christmas!    Ian Rockey
