Westwood Annual Flower and Vegetable Show

Monday 27th August 2018

Hoping the wonderful weather we had over the May Bank Holiday encouraged all you gardeners out into the garden planting and sowing ready for a bumper crop of exhibits at this years Flower and Vegetable Show.

As well as exhibits we would welcome any local charities or organisations who may which to have a stand on the day.  Please contact Jeannie Johnston on 01225 864559 for more details if you are interested.

Please note this is an outdoor event, tables and shelters are not provided.

Westwood Annual Flower and Vegetable Show

The Bath Spa Band will again entertain us.  Teas and cakes will be available in the Parish Rooms.

We would be very pleased to hear from anyone involved with a local club or community group who may wish to have a stand at the show.

As always it is only with the help and support of volunteers that this event can take place.  If you feel that you can help in any way, setting up the tents, stewarding, managing a stall or packing up at the end of the day, please do contact either John Streeter or Wendy Packer at westwoodshow@hotmail.co.uk..

Westwood Flower and Vegetable Show

The return of the lovely summer weather ensured a perfect weekend for this years show.  The newly refurbished Parish Rooms were put to good use serving a record number of teas and cakes whilst the Bath Spa Band in the new location provided entertainment for visitors.

Our thanks to all those volunteers who helped with, erecting the marquees and shelters, stewarding, manning the gates and stalls, managing the carpark, producing the beautiful floral displays in the church and ringing the bells. We are also grateful to everyone who entered exhibits. Without you all there would be no show. So, thank you for a fabulous 2017 event, we look forward to welcoming you back for a bumper 2018 show
